हाल ही में यहाँ उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य ललित कला अकादमी के सहयोग से 'सर्वदेवमयी गौ माता' मूर्तिकला और चित्रकला शिविर का आयोजन किया गया था। Recently, a 'Sarvadevamayi Gau Mata' sculpture and painting camp was organized here in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh State Lalit Kala Akademi.

गौदान का मूल्य / The Value of Cow Donation

च्यवन ऋषि और मछुआरों का प्रसंग Chyavana Rishi and the Fishermen

यह प्रसंग बताता है कि संसार में गाय से बढ़कर कोई मूल्यवान धन नहीं है। This story teaches that in this world, there is no wealth more valuable than a cow.

कथा The Story

एक बार च्यवन ऋषि नदी में तपस्या कर रहे थे। मछुआरों ने जाल फेंका, तो जाल में मछलियों के साथ च्यवन ऋषि भी खिंचे चले आए। Once Chyavana Rishi was performing penance in a river. Fishermen cast their net, and along with the fish, Chyavana Rishi was also pulled out.
संकट The Crisis

मछुआरे डर गए और राजा नहुष के पास क्षमा मांगने पहुंचे। च्यवन ऋषि ने कहा कि राजा को उनकी और मछलियों की सही कीमत चुकानी होगी। The fishermen became frightened and went to King Nahusha to ask for forgiveness. Chyavana Rishi said the king must pay the correct price for him and the fish.
समाधान The Solution

राजा ने ऋषि के मूल्य स्वरूप बहुत सारा धन और राज्य देने का प्रस्ताव रखा, लेकिन ऋषि संतुष्ट नहीं हुए। तब एक ज्ञानी ऋषि ने राजा नहुष को सलाह दी कि वे मूल्य के रूप में एक गाय दान करें। The king offered vast wealth and even his kingdom, but the sage was not satisfied. Then a wise sage advised King Nahusha to donate a cow as payment.
निष्कर्ष The Conclusion

राजा नहुष ने ऋषि को एक सुंदर, उत्तम गाय दान की। च्यवन ऋषि तुरंत मान गए और उन्होंने कहा कि संसार में गाय से बढ़कर कोई मूल्यवान धन नहीं है। King Nahusha donated a beautiful, excellent cow to the sage. Chyavana Rishi immediately agreed and said that in this world, there is no wealth more valuable than a cow.

इंद्र और ब्रह्मा जी का संवाद Dialogue of Indra and Lord Brahma

इंद्र ने ब्रह्मा जी से पूछा — मनुष्यों और देवताओं में गायों को इतना पूजनीय क्यों माना जाता है? ब्रह्मा जी ने गायों की दिव्य उत्पत्ति का रहस्य बताया। Indra asked Brahma why cows are considered so worshipful among humans and gods. Lord Brahma revealed the divine secret of the origin of cows.

सुरभि की तपस्या और वरदान Surabhi's Penance and Boon

दक्ष प्रजापति की पुत्री सुरभि ने समस्त प्राणियों के कल्याण के लिए घोर तपस्या की। ब्रह्मा जी ने वरदान दिया — तुम समस्त संसार की माता कहलाओगी, तुम्हारा लोक (गोलोक) सबसे पावन होगा, और तुम्हारी संतान के रूप में गायें पृथ्वी पर प्राणियों का पालन-पोषण करेंगी। Surabhi, daughter of Daksha Prajapati, performed severe penance for the welfare of all beings. Brahma blessed her — you shall be called the Mother of the entire world, your abode Goloka shall be most sacred, and as your children, cows shall nourish all beings on Earth.

कपिला गाय की दिव्य उत्पत्ति Divine Origin of the Kapila Cow

भगवान शिव के क्रोध से अमृत के कण धरा पर गिरे। वे अमृत कण धरती को स्पर्श करते ही दिव्य तेज से युक्त कपिला (सुनहरी) गायों के रूप में प्रकट हुए। From Lord Shiva's anger, drops of nectar fell upon the earth. Touching the ground, they manifested as radiant golden Kapila cows.

भीष्म पितामह का उपदेश Teaching of Bhishma Pitamah

भीष्म पितामह ने युधिष्ठिर को बताया — कपिला गाय का दान सर्वश्रेष्ठ दान है। यह समस्त पापों का नाश करता है और दाता को मोक्ष की प्राप्ति कराता है। Bhishma Pitamah told Yudhishthira — the donation of a Kapila cow is the supreme charity. It destroys all sins and leads the donor to salvation.

गाय समस्त देवताओं का निवास स्थान है! उसकी सेवा से समस्त तीर्थों का फल प्राप्त होता है। गौ माता की सेवा — धर्म, अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति का मार्ग है। The cow is the abode of all deities!
